Thomas provides strategic investment advice and customised financial education to VALUEworks’ clients, particularly to next-generation wealthholders.

He started his career at Nomura Securities in Switzerland in 1987 and later joined its structured finance team in New York. Then he worked for Morgan Stanley in equity derivatives in London before setting up his own consultancy in 1998.

For over a decade, Thomas has been lecturing MBA students at SBS Swiss Business School and teaches finance and accounting to Executive MBA students internationally. He acts as financial expert witness and has written two books on finance.

Thomas holds an MSc from Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

He has an active interest in demography in general and its link to financial markets in particular.
