At VALUEworks, Amer coaches NextGens on wealth related topics, with a special focus on family businesses, impact and sustainability, and he advises business families in strategic, investment and governance matters. In addition, Amer is responsible for business development and looks after the global wealth management network that serves our key clients.

With over twenty years in the financial industry, Amer’s experience covers Private Equity, M&A and Merchant Banking in London, before moving to Zurich to join Rothschild Bank, where he served entrepreneurs and global families.

Amer completed a post-graduate degree at Cambridge University in Advanced Manufacturing and Management and holds two Bachelors, in engineering and business with Japanese. He also holds a Diploma in Accounting and Finance (ACCA) and an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from the CFA Institute.

Amer is on the Board of Philanthropy Impact in Zurich and a lecturer and mentor for the Anant Fellowship for Climate Action in India.

Amer was born in Kenya and this is where his love of coffee and the outdoors originated.
